Stormlord

Right.. finally got the Stormlord painted up.. it looks quite good, I like the camo style.. it being similar to the image..

Painting it didn't take as much time as I thought and I was able to push through it in a few hours.. I'll have another look in the morning to see how it looks..

Bike Squadron completed

Finally.. it's taken far too long, but the bike squadron is finally completed.. based and everything.. photos to come later.. only 2 speeders and an attack bike left and then another 2 boxes of Ravenwing to go.. woo!

1 bike done..

I've finally made some progress into the bike squadron.. I have the resin bases and I've finished the first one... woo! go me.. just another 5 to finish.. and 5 more bases to finish off..

Just need to finish off the metallics and a couple of top coats to tidy up everything and then job is a good 'un.. :) I think after this I shall work on some more blood angels to take care of some of the things that I have assembled and not painted..

Sammael..

Almost done with it... pinning is still going on.. almost complete.. just need to fix the front panels, build the eagle on to it and then re-attach the book.. somehow I have to figure out how I can fit the torso of Sammael on to the rest of the body and then all the extra little pieces need to get glued on... once I've got all that I can finally start putting some paint on him.. :)

Also just waiting for some resin bases to arrive for the rest of the Ravenwing bikes that are completed..

One Ravenwing unit assembled

So a New Year's morning spent filing and scraping has pulled together one landspeeder and one attack bike.. so once these are painted to go with the six bikers I'll have the first of my Ravenwing attack units done.. only 9 more left..

I've also acquired the command squad box set which I'll use to convert the next box set into one containing an apothecary and a standard bearer.. oh.. and I still have Sammael and a load of landspeeders still to put together..
