Blog moving...
I'm moving the painting blog to tumblr as it is incredibly time consuming to upload photos to BlogSpot and to then manage the post. Future postings will be here for all WIP and miniatures : http://enervix.tumblr.com/

Wall of Martyrs
I'm loving the Wall of Martyrs scenery that Games Workshop have put out so far. I've grabbed a bunker, the defence line, the defence emplacement and a firestorm redoubt.. Of these I've only managed the emplacement, half of the line and the bunker to be completely painted. The firestorm redoubt is assembled but needs a good basecoat before I can even start..

Army Pictures and Dark Talon WIP shots..
So I splurged a little on some of the new Dark Angel options out there.. I've revamped my project list to include the Ravenwing Black Knights and the Command Squadrons and I've had a look at the boxes.. There is going to be a lot of work needed to get these painted up well, but I'm looking forward to it. To help me out with painting another Ravenwing Assault Squadron I'm also planning to paint up a Dark Talon fighter craft. The model looks awesome and aside from a few dilemmas over what I should do with the canopy so that you can see I've painted the interior of the cockpit I'm almost ready to start a base coat.
To that end I've got a few WIP shots of the Dark Talon and a few overall army pictures of everything I've been painting for the Path to Redemption. I'm optimistic about the project!

Path to Redemption - October vow.. Part 1
So with September behind me and my vow successfully completed (see below for pictures) I've decided to paint up a unit of Deathwing Terminators and finish off the Land Raider I've started for my October vow. I figure by working on reasonable targets I'll get through the painting challenge over the course of the next 5 months.
December will be the toughest month as I'm away mid-month through to January, so attempting something achievable will be the key. Likely I'll just put together another Deathwing unit as they are relatively simple to put together and I seem to be able to churn them out pretty quickly and to good standard.

Old Photos of Models - Blood Angels - Part 6
Part 6...
Venerable Dreadnought, the scroll work hides the defect in the metal model :

A pair of Blood Angel Veterans - I would replace these with Sternguard/vanguard veteran models or some of the newer Sanguinary Guard models:

Vindicator, 1 of 3 from a Linebreaker Formation :

Whirlwind - 1 of 2 - both are painted to similar standard :
